Welcome to the 2006 swim, dive and tennis season! The pool opens for swimming at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 27th.
By the time the swimming pool opens on Memorial Day weekend, you will be pleased to see our remodeled bathrooms and electrical connections in the pavilion. You will also see that the HIGH DIVE has been removed due to the fact it was deemed out of county standards by Fairfax County. We will be taking a poll on the web site to determine the desires of the members with respect to adding another 1 meter dive board or a large slide. Please take the time to give us a vote on that issue.
Our annual membership meeting is on Thursday May 4, at 7:30 pm in Cottage 2 at Canterbury Woods Elementary School. Please try to attend. This is your opportunity to provide us with input on what you would like to see at your community pool.
Our membership sign-up brunch is on Saturday, May 28th at the pool. This year, we highly encourage you to use the web site to to register but if you desire to mail your registration use the colored registration form to do so. You can also update your digital family picture and replace lost membership key tags at the membership sign-up brunch.
